Meet Tara

Tara started her career in healthcare as a CNA at 16 years old. The joy of helping others pushed her to complete her LPN, A-RN and BSN. The combination of working in healthcare and growing up on a farm in South Dakota, took a toll on Tara's body. Dealing with chronic pain for years then took a toll on her mentally. After many years of frustration with Western Medicine options, she knew there had to be more to health and healing, which is what lead her to yoga in 2011.

The practice of yoga helped her body physically but most importantly, it helped her deal with the mental, emotional, energetic and  spiritual challenges of chronic pain. She had to learn more so in 2014, she completed her Yoga Teacher Training. This opened the door to Tara pursuing several additional certifications in multiple energy healing modalities. Integrating these practices into her life enabled her body, mind and spirit to truly heal and she wanted to share this gift with the world around her. 

In 2019, Idol Hands Healing was born. What started as a Reiki studio in her friend's guest house, has grow into a thriving business offering a variety of services.
